Former President of Georgia Mikheil Saakashvili has shared information about his personal life, including his relationship with deputy of the Supreme Rada of Ukraine Elizavet Yasko on his Facebook page, Sputnik Georgia reports.

Saakashvili was apprehended on October 1 in Georga and is currently in prison #12 in Rustav. There are a few criminal cases launched against Saakashvili, who has Ukrainian citizenship.

According to the ex-president, he and Liza Yasko have been living together for a long time.

“For all those who are interested in my personal life, I am currently involved in a much more important struggle than my personal life. However, since there have been several questions about this, I would like to say that all my former relationships are over. Liza and I have been together for a long time and have been living together for several months as partners. It’s a great love story, and I am happy,” Saakashvili wrote and asked to respect his and Liza’s personal life, adding that he is grateful for their incredible life together.

Saakashvili says he is fully focused on the struggle, is still on a hunger strike and is resolute to end what he has started.
