Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili shared information about the meeting with Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on his Twitter, First Channel of Georgia reports.

The head of government wrote that during his meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia, they discussed the new peace initiative and Georgia’s willingness to actively mediate for peace and the growth of big opportunities in the region.

“In the frames of my visit to Armenia held productive talks with PM Nikol Pashinyan. Discussed bilateral cooperation, new peace initiative for South Caucasus region & Georgias readiness to pursue active mediation to create more opportunities for sustainable peace & development in the region” Garibashvili tweeted.
