Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan today received President of the State Audit Institution of the United Arab Emirates, Chair of the International Organization of Supreme Audit Institutions Harib Saeed Al Amimi.

As reported the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, Minister Andreasyan expressed gratitude to the chairman of the Institution for his visit to Armenia, underscored the fraternal relations between the peoples of both countries, highly appreciated the medical assistance provided to Armenia during the outbreak of COVID-19 last year and voiced hope that this visit will give an impetus to the revelation of the great trade-economic potential of Armenia and the UAE and planning for use of that potential .

Harib Saeed Al Amimi extended thanks to the minister for the cordial reception, presented the activities of the State Audit Institution and expressed willingness to share the Institution’s experience with Armenia.

In his turn, Minister Andreasyan presented Armenia’s reforms agenda and particularly touched upon the activities of the country’s new anti-corruption bodies and other issues of mutual interests.

Harib Saeed Al Amimi expressed certainty that his visit will help turn a new page over in the bilateral relations and invited Andreasyan to attend Expo 2021 Dubai, and Andreasyan accepted the invitation.
