As in the past, Armenia prohibits the import of Turkish clothes and other goods. This is what deputy of the “My Step” faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Khachatur Sukiasyan said as he addressed Deputy Minister of Economy Varos Simonyan during today’s session of the Standing Committee on Regional and Eurasian Integration of the National Assembly.

According to him, Russia manufactures great and high-quality textiles from which Armenia can launch manufacturing of great products. “Armenia simply lacks a structure that could coordinate the whole process. We need to have an institution that will be capable of assessing all the resources and full potential of the country,” Sukiasyan clarified.

In his turn, the deputy minister assured that the aforementioned point in the future strategy on economic diplomacy of the Ministry of Economy will definitely be considered.
