GYUMRI. - Unknown people smashed the office window of Armenian Center for the Protection of Human Rights after Andrei Sakharov in Armenian city of Gyumri.

Awakened by the noise, the neighbors tried to extinguish the fire and immediately called the fire department. The fire was put out.

“I would not like to run ahead of the cart or speak instead of law enforcement officers, who have to investigate the occurrence. I cannot say whether what happened is related to the activities of the organization but probably they knew what organization it is," the head of Armenian Center for the Protection of Human Rights after Andrei Sakharov Seyran Martirosyan told Radio Liberty.
