In 2022, it is planned to carry out one program, with two measures, within the framework of the President’s office. Minister of finance Tigran Khachatryan stated about this at the parliamentary standing committees’ joint debates Wednesday on Armenia’s draft state budget for 2022.

He added that for this purpose, 1 billion 602.5 million drams are planned to be allocated from the budget.

The National Assembly (NA) expenditures for next year will remain virtually unchanged compared to 2021. Moreover, the NA plans to carry out one program, with five measures, in 2022.

"It is planned to allocate 5 billion 992 million drams for those purposes. Compared to 2021, the funding has also remained unchanged," the finance minister said.

At the same time, in 2022 the Prime Minister's Office will implement 11 programs, with 45 measures. Moreover, two programs are connected with the Armenian diaspora affairs. A total of 19 billion 675 million drams will be allocated for that purpose. The reduction in these expenses will reach 34.5 percent.

"Partly, its reason is that many programs and measures which have been carried out by the Prime Minister's Office this year shall be carried out by other departments next year," Khachatryan explained.
