In 2022, it is planned to implement five programs, with eight measures, within the framework of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. Minister of finance Tigran Khachatryan stated about this at the parliamentary standing committees’ joint debates Thursday on the country’s draft state budget for 2022.

It is envisaged to allocate 16 billion 653 million drams (approx. $35 million) for those purposes, and the respective budget increase compared to 2021 is 2.26 percent.

At the same time, it is planned to allocate 2 billion 295 million drams (approx. $4.8 million) under the Cooperation with International Organizations program, within the framework of which membership fees are envisaged. The increase in budget expenses here will be 4.47 percent.
