Armenia and Azerbaijan have a number of issues related to the post-conflict period. This is what Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov said today, APA reports.

“This concerns the unblocking of transport communications, as well as the delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani state border. There are certain rules for determining the borders between states. There are several initiatives in regard to this and other humanitarian issues, and mine maps have to be provided. The Azerbaijani side has never refused to negotiate. Our stance is fair and based on international law. We are ready to normalize relations on the basis of sovereignty, territorial integrity and inviolability of borders of the countries. If a meeting is required for this, we are open for meetings,” he said.

It should be mentioned that Bayramov interprets the norms of international law differently, without mentioning two of the fundamental principles, that is, the right to self-determination and no use of force of threat of force.
