Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has tested positive for COVID-19. Mehr reports that the Iranian foreign minister’s counterparts from different countries have called Amir-Abdollahian on the phone to learn about his health condition and briefly discussed issues of mutual interest.
Among those who contacted the Iranian foreign minister were the high-ranking diplomats of Syria, Iraq, China, Kuwait and Jordan, as well as several foreign ambassadors to Tehran.
