The roadmap for Armenian-Russian scientific collaboration was signed Friday in Yerevan—and between the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and the Russian Academy of Sciences.

The document was signed between the president of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Alexander Sergeev, who is in Armenia on a visit, and the president of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia, Ashot Saghyan.

Also, Sergeev was awarded the diploma of honorary member of the National Academy of Sciences of Armenia.

In his remarks, Alexander Sergeev stressed the need for a considerable resumption of scientific relations between Armenia and Russia.

And Ashot Saghyan, in his turn, noted that the consolidation of forces of various countries and the intensification of collaboration between scientists is important to face the difficult challenges in the world.
