A reception in honor of visiting Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) minister of state Artak Beglaryan was organized at the embassy of Armenia in the US, and a meeting was held with Ambassador Lilit Makunts.

In his remarks at the reception, the state minister presented the situation in Artsakh, its key issues, and the vision for the future regarding the development of Artsakh and the engagement of the Armenian diaspora in it. Beglaryan stressed that the respective expectation from the Armenian diaspora is not so much material as assisting in the development of long-term capacities in Artsakh—and with the huge human resources of the diaspora.

And during the meeting with Ambassador Makunts, the state minister’s visit to the US, as well as the protection of the rights and interests of the people of Artsakh in the United States were discussed.
