Armenia plans to increase the minimum salary to AMD 85,000 by the year 2026. This is what Deputy Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of Armenia Ruben Sargsyan said during today’s discussion on the draft state budget for 2022 held as part of the joint session of parliamentary standing committees.

According to him, the first steps will be taken in 2023.

“We are currently considering the objective with our colleagues from the Ministry of Finance. The current minimum monthly salary in Armenia is AMD 68,000,” the deputy minister added.
