Military exercises of the Iranian army kicked off on Sunday, Iranian news agency IRNA reported.

The drills are taking place in the provinces of Hormozgan, Sistan and Baluchistan, on the Makran coast, and in the northern part of the Indian Ocean

The exercises are held with the participation of units of the Navy, Air Defense, Air Force and the Ground Forces of Iran.

Objectives such as the collection of electronic, signal and counter-electronic information about the actions of opposing forces using observation and navigation systems of tactical and coastal units, with various types of Iranian reconnaissance UAVs have been successfully implemented.
