Junior Sergeant of the Armenian Armed Forces Grigor Vardanyan was fatally wounded on Sunday.
The incident took place as a result of violation of the rules for handling weapons at one of the combat positions of the military unit in the northeastern direction, the Armenian defense ministry reported.
An investigation is currently underway to clarify all the circumstances of the case.
