YEREVAN. – The circumstances behind the death of a 57-year-old female resident of Noyemberyan town of Tavush Province have been found out, the Investigative Committee of Armenia informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

It was found out that  between 7am and 8am on November 4, an argument and a fight had occurred in the house of this woman between her and a 39-year-old male resident of Noyemberyan, during which this man had hit the woman in the face and head. As a result, she died at around 5:30am on November 5 at a medical center—and without regaining consciousness.

The man has been detained on suspicion of killing this woman and has confessed.

The criminal investigation continues.
