STEPANAKERT. – Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) President Arayik Harutyunyan was vaccinated against COVID-19 Monday, the Artsakh Ministry of Health informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The head of state stressed the importance of vaccination as an effective means of combating the coronavirus.

To note, the President of Artsakh had contracted COVID-19 a year ago, but, despite Harutyunyan’s wishes, his vaccination against it had been delayed due to the number of antibodies in his body.

Vaccinations against the coronavirus are administered at various medical institutions of Artsakh.
