STEPANAKERT. – At around 3pm on Monday, a yet unidentified serviceman of the Azerbaijani armed forces entered—from an area currently under the control of the Azerbaijani army—the place called "under Shushi" on the Shushi-Berdzor motorway in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), and opened fire on waterline repairmen, informed the Artsakh Investigative Committee.

As a result, Martik Yeremyan, a Stepanakert resident born in 1998, died on the spot after receiving a gunshot wound to the head, while Gevorg Melkumyan, Gagik Ghazaryan, and Armen Sargsyan sustained gunshot wounds.

A criminal case has been launched into this incident.
