YEREVAN. – Zhoghovurd daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: A reply has been sent from RA Minister of Labor and Social Affairs Narek Mkrtchyan to the [opposition] "Armenia" Faction [in the National Assembly (NA)] regarding their inquiry, which shall also be discussed in the parliament.

The inquiry presents the answers to six questions sent by the NA opposition faction. For example, in one of them, the opposition faction wanted to know the number of people who have relocated from Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] to Armenia. Accordingly, the answer notes that the number of displaced from Artsakh at the end of the war [last fall] was more than 91 thousand people

Then the opposition faction wanted to get information about the number of people killed, missing, taken prisoner, and become wounded and disabled in the last Artsakh war. The ministry quoted the data provided by the Investigative Committee, according to which the number of servicemen and civilians killed, missing, and taken prisoner in Artsakh and Armenia as a result of the war is 3,712 killed servicemen, 76 civilians, 222 missing servicemen, 21 civilians, 37 captured servicemen, and 3 civilians. Then it is noted that a total of 114 captured servicemen and civilians have been handed over to the Republic of Armenia by the Republic of Azerbaijan so far.
