The foreign and defense ministers of France and Russia will meet on Nov. 12 on the sidelines of the international conference on Libya in Paris.

According to the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, besides the challenges for strategic stability and security in Europe, the international conference will also provide the opportunity to talk about the political and military aspects of regional and international crises.

The ministers will also touch upon the joint efforts of France and Russia as Co-Chairs of the Minsk Group, as well as the close cooperation of the European trio and Russia to support speedy resumption of the talks with Iran in order to go back to the requirements for the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action. The parties will also share their views on security in the Middle East, Afghanistan and the Indian-Pacific Ocean region.
