Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan hopes that Turkey will become "one of the world's leading powers." He stated about this during Wednesday’ commemoration ceremony of Mustafa Kemal Ataturk, the founder of modern-day Turkey, Anadolu reports.
According to Erdogan, Turkey is currently engaged in the ongoing processes in Syria, Libya, and the Caucasus.
"Modern Turkey is waging an active diplomatic battle in Europe and the world," added the Turkish president.
