Speaker of the National Assembly of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) Artur Tovmasyan today received Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia Ishkhan Saghatelyan, as reported the National Assembly of Artsakh.

Tovmasyan welcomed Ishkhan Saghatelyan to Artsakh and talked about the expansion of cooperation between the parliaments of the two fraternal countries.

The parliamentary speaker presented the consequences of the devastating war that took place in 2020 and touched upon the fact that the parliaments of Armenia and Artsakh need to be presented within different international organizations with a unified viewpoint.

Saghatelyan expressed gratitude for the reception and underscored the importance of interparliamentary activities.

Issues related to parliamentary diplomacy were discussed during the meeting.
