Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, Chair of the Interparliamentary Committee on Cooperation between the National Assembly of Armenia and the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Hakob Arshakyan yesterday convened a working consultation during which issues related to the upcoming activities of the Committee were discussed.
As reported the National Assembly of Armenia, the approved working plan for the next three years, as well as the timeframe and agenda for the next session were considered during the consultation.
The Members of Parliament touched upon the discussions on the Artsakh issue within the scope of the Committee, the establishment of a council of businessmen adjunct to the Committee, the activities of the board of experts, the holding of cultural and educational events, the development of integration processes within the Eurasian Economic Union, the harmonization of the legislative field and several other issues.
The participants of the consultation also considered the format for implementation of the joint activities to hold the events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Armenia and Russia.
