The ruling Civil Contract Party is the political party that is implementing Baku’s policy in Armenia. this is what secretary of the opposition “With Honor” faction of the National Assembly of Armenia Hayk Mamijanyan said during a special discussion with deputies of the parliamentary opposition today, clarifying the reason for the absence of representatives of the ruling majority.

According to the deputy, the opposition “With Honor” faction is currently busy campaigning ahead of the local self-government elections. Mamijanyan called on the residents of towns and villages in which there is an election campaign to approach representatives of the Civil Contract Party and ask them why the advancement of their candidate in the elections is more important than the urgent discussions in parliament.

The opposition MP is certain that the current situation is a result of agreements with Azerbaijan.

“This isn’t the first capitulator Nikol Pashinyan is reaching an agreement with the enemy state. In 2018, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan agreed with President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, asking him to not create any tension on the border so that he can do away with the national and patriotic forces in Armenia,” the parliamentarian assured.
