Armenian citizens who have been fully vaccinated against the coronavirus will soon be able to travel to Sweden without an entry ban or additional travel rules, such as a COVID-19 test requirement.
The Swedish govern¬ment on Thursday adopted amendments to the temporary ban on entry into Sweden, according to a statement from the Swedish Ministry of Justice. The amendments primarily mean that additional people who can present a coronavirus vaccine certificate issued in Armenia are exempted from the entry ban and test requirement.
The amendments will enter into force on November 15.
At the end of October, the European Commission decided that the coronavirus vaccine certificates issued in Armenia are equivalent to the European online COVID-19 vaccine certificates.
