Minister of Justice of Armenia Karen Andreasyan today received UNDP Resident Representative to Armenia Natia Natsvlishvili.

As reported the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, the minister extended thanks for the fruitful cooperation and emphasized that the UNDP is one of Armenia’s reliable partners, especially in the context of human rights protection and the reforms being implemented in the police sector.

Minister Andreasyan attached importance to the ensuring of continuity of the joint programs and welcomed the launch of the new EU-backed UNDP project entitled “EU for police and migration reforms of responsive and reporting institutions, reforms in police and migration field, as well as for human rights protection in Armenia”.

UNDP Resident Representative to Armenia Natia Natsvlishvili also attached importance to the need for cooperation in the aforementioned sectors, as well as in the process of constitutional reforms and the anti-corruption activities and expressed willingness to support the agenda of justice reforms.
