Deputy Prime Minister of Armenia Mher Grigoryan today had meetings with Deputy Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) Karen Murray, who represents Armenia in the Board of the ADB, as well as ADB Country Director for Armenia Paolo Spantigati.

As reported the Government of Armenia, the Deputy Prime Minister attached importance to the cooperation with the ADB and presented the main goals reflected in the Program of the Government, setting aside the main directions for possible cooperation with the ADB.

Karen Murray stated that it is an honor for her to represent Armenia in the ADB and stressed that the main purpose of her visit is to learn about the Armenian government’s priorities.

The parties particularly touched upon the construction of the North-South Highway, possible cooperation in the water and communication sectors, as well as in the sector of human capital development. They also attached importance to the current programs with the ADB in the private sector.

During the meeting with ADB Country Director for Armenia Paolo Spantigati, the parties discussed details of the current programs and exchanged views on the actions that the government plans to take in the sectors of transport infrastructures and healthcare and the cooperation with the ADB.
