Minister of Defense of Armenia Arshak Karapetyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of India to Armenia Kishan Dan Dewal and newly appointed Military Attaché of India to Armenia, Brigadier General Rajesh Pushkar (seat in Moscow).

As reported the Armenian Ministry of Defense, the defense minister congratulated Brigadier General Pushkar on being accredited to Armenia, noting that the accreditation of the attaché of India is a serious step towards the development of cooperation between the two countries in the defense sector.

Issues related to cooperation in the defense sector were discussed during the meeting. The parties affirmed that there are several sectors of mutual interest that need to be enshrined by cooperation agreements and attached importance to high-level reciprocal visits.
