Dmitry Shugayev, Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia, said at the Dubai Airshow 2021 that his country and Turkey were discussing the process of joint manufacture of weapons and the supply of Russian weapons to Turkey, Interfax reported.

"[Russia’s] military-technical cooperation with the Republic of Turkey has a stable development," Shugayev stressed.

Also, he noted the timeframe for signing a contract for the supply of a new batch of Russian S-400 missile defense systems to Turkey. According to Shugayev, this will happen by the end of the year.
