YEREVAN. – The seismological network of Armenia on Sunday recorded a magnitude-2.7 earthquake at the Armenia-Georgia border zone, at 10:23am local time, 16 kilometers northeast of Bavra village of Armenia, and 10 km beneath the surface.
The tremor measured magnitude 3-4 at the epicenter, reported the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Armenia.
The seismic activity was felt in Saragyugh and Bavra villages of Shirak Province, and in Norashen, Metsavan, and Dzoramut villages of Lori Province of Armenia.
