Minister of Finance of Armenia Tigran Khachatryan today received the delegation led by Country Director of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) for Armenia Paolo Spantigati.

As reported the Ministry of Finance, the minister attached importance to the cooperation with the ADB and touched upon the course of and strategy for implementation of the joint programs, as well as the trends for Armenia’s economic development.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues related to construction of the North-South Road Corridor, possible cooperation in the transport and communication sectors, as well as reforms predetermined in the fields of education and healthcare.

Expressing gratitude for the reception, Spantigati stated that the Asian Development Bank is ready to continue to assist the initiatives of the Armenian government in the sectors of infrastructure development, energy, healthcare, education and other sectors.
