The Court of General Jurisdiction of Gegharkunik Province of Armenia acquitted former Chief of Police, Colonel General Vladimir Gasparyan, who was charged with hindrance to the legal and professional activities of a journalist, or forcing the journalist to disseminate information or not to disseminate information, advocate Tigran Atanesyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“The criminal case was instituted on the ground of the clause of journalists of RFE/RL Armenian Service,” he added.
