The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia has launched a criminal case regarding the fact that yesterday the Azerbaijani Armed Forces trespassed the state border of Armenia in Syunik Province and violated the territorial integrity of Armenia. This is what Advisor to the Prosecutor General Gor Abrahamyan wrote on his Facebook page.

“The Military Prosecutor’s Office of the garrison in Yeghegnadzor has launched a criminal case regarding the fact that on November 14, 2021 at around 12 p.m. a group of armed servicemen of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, without permission, trespassed the state border of Armenia, approached four military posts of the Armed Forces of Armenia, made threats to use force against the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Armenia, carried out operations to transfer that part of the territory of Armenia to Azerbaijan and demanded that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Armenia to leave those territories by making threats to use weapons.

Within the scope of the criminal case, besides the actions of the adversary, the facts that it was possible for the enemy forces to approach the military posts and that the servicemen of the Armed Forces of Armenia left the military posts will also be examined. Legal evaluations will also be given in regard to these facts,” the press release reads.
