Along with the attack launched today, the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan are also leading a large-scale disinformation campaign.

As reported the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, in particular, today at midday, before the launch of the attack, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan issued a press release stating that the units of the Armed Forces of Armenia had allegedly shelled the Azerbaijani military posts in several directions of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border at once on November 15 and 16. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan also claims that the Armed Forces of Armenia are carrying out operations in the direction of Tavush. The reports don’t correspond to reality. The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan is trying to blame the Armenian side for the large-scale provocation. Nevertheless, it is more than clear that Azerbaijan is the one that launched the attack by striking Armenian military posts through the use of artillery and armored vehicles.
