I had told you a hundred times that the war is not over, that there won’t be peace with the weak, that this scoundrel won’t calm down, that we can’t elect him and that we Armenians will give the wrong signal to the world by helping the capitulator regenerate. This is what Vice-President of the Republican Party of Armenia Armen Ashotyan wrote on his Facebook page, adding the following:

“This day came because the scoundrels transferred the backbone that was keeping the roads of Syunik Province strong, because they referred to as Azerbaijani the Armenian lands seized by the Azerbaijanis, because they left the army without a command, because they were changing defense ministers and the chiefs of the army’s General Staff more frequently than their own undergarments and because they didn’t respond to Aliyev and made him talk more and more.

And finally, let us state the absolute, yet unpleasant truth: the second act of this war didn’t start today or yesterday. It started with the 680,000 people who chanted “there is a future” on June 20 [of this year].

I express my condolences to the families of all the deceased servicemen. May our soldiers be strong and be protected by God.”
