The intensity of the battles in the eastern direction of Armenia’s border where the units of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan launched an attack hasn’t weakened, the Armenian defense ministry reported.

The adversary continues to use artillery, armored vehicles, and firearms of various calibers.

As a result of the response operations of the Armenian side, the adversary has suffered large casualties of personnel, nearly a dozen units of armored vehicles have been destroyed or are out of order. The Armenian side also has casualties. The data are being verified. Twelve servicemen of the Armenian Armed Forces (7 contractual servicemen and 5 conscripts) are captured.

Meanwhile, Chair of the Standing Committee on Foreign Relations of the National Assembly of Armenia Eduard Aghajanyan noted that as a result of Azerbaijan’s attack on the Armenian military posts deployed in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, the Armenian side has 15 casualties, and another 7 servicemen are captured.
