We record the fact that the incumbent regime led by Nikol Pashinyan has made the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) face an existential danger due to its anti-national and defeatist governance. This is stated in the statement issued by the opposition Homeland Party.

“Homeland Party supports our Armed Forces. Taking into consideration the subsequent aggression unleashed by the enemy against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and the hostilities that are underway, Homeland Party has convened a special board session.

After the session, it was decided to temporarily stop the campaign ahead of the local self-government elections and cancel all other political events.

We record the fact that the incumbent regime led by Nikol Pashinyan has made the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh Republic) face an existential danger due to its anti-national and defeatist governance. Consequently, the authorities unequivocally bear responsibility for all the security issues that have emerged.

Taking into consideration the aforementioned, it is clear that all the healthy national forces of the Republic of Armenia need to come together and support our Armed Forces.

Proceeding from this, Homeland Party declares that it will use all of its resources to support and assist our army, its officers and soldiers to give a worthy counterattack to the enemy.

At the same time, we deem it necessary to emphasize that international organizations and the whole civilized world need to give a very coarse response to the unbridled actions of Azerbaijan.

The sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia and the security of our citizens can’t become a subject for bargain in any case,” the statement reads.
