The ARF-D Armenian National Committee of Europe has issued a statement on the situation created in Armenia, calling on international organizations to use all political leverages to oblige Azerbaijan to respect the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.

The statement reads as follows:

“BREAKING: On November 16, at around 13:00, the units of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces launched an attack in the direction of the eastern border of the Republic of Armenia. The Azerbaijani Armed Forces have infiltrated into the sovereign territory of Armenia since May 12.
- This attack has been the tensest since the 2020 Artsakh war. These attacks show clearly, that Azerbaijan is not committed to peace and stability in the region and is actively committing military aggression against the Republic of Armenia.
- We urge the international community, particularly the EU to use every leverage they have to put political pressure on the Azerbaijani dictatorial authorities in order to respect the territorial integrity of the Republic of Armenia.”
