France is concerned about the escalation of the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and calls on the sides to observe the conditions of the ceasefire signed in Moscow in November 2020. The statement was issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of France, TASS reports.

“France expresses deep concern about the deterioration of the security situation in several sections of the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan and the supposed application of heavy arms, which caused several deaths, especially on the Armenian side. France calls on the sides to maintain the ceasefire regime which they expressed commitment to maintain in the trilateral declaration of November 9, 2020,” the statement reads.
