Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan met with Secretary of the Security Council of the Russian Federation Nikolai Patrushev during the ninth meeting of Secretaries of the Security Councils of the CIS countries.
As reported the Security Council Bureau, during the conversation, Grigoryan presented in detail the situation created as a result of Azerbaijan’s hostilities and particularly stated that the hostilities are taking place in the sovereign territory of Armenia and that the Azerbaijani troops need to leave the sovereign territory of Armenia.
Patrushev voiced hope that the tension on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border would ease soon and added that the Russian side is ready to provide appropriate support to Armenia and Azerbaijan for delimitation and demarcation of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.
