YEREVAN. – Georgi Avetisyan, Head of the Food Safety Inspectorate Body (FSIB) of Armenia, met Thursday with Viktor Nazarenko, Member of the Board-Minister in charge of Technical Regulation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC)—a permanent regulatory body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU)—the FSIB informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the meeting, food safety, its inspection, international standards in this field, and their compliance with national laws were discussed.

Also, both sides stressed their readiness to develop further cooperation in food safety.
