Eurasian integration is one of the priorities of the Government of Armenia. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said in his speech at the launch of the meeting with the Prime Ministers of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union.

First, Pashinyan congratulated Kyrgyzstan’s new Prime Minister Akilbek Zhaparov and wished him success. He also mentioned that Armenia is ready to continue to make more efforts to maintain the constructive dialogue between the governments of the two countries.

“By hosting this session, we tried to make sure the conditions were as suitable as possible for discussion on the issues on the agenda. Besides the discussion, what is also very important is the live contacts of our delegations,” Pashinyan said.

As Prime Minister of the country chairing the Eurasian Economic Union, Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Askar Mamin presented the agenda for the meeting.

The heads of governments of the member states of the Eurasian Economic Union are expected to discuss, among other issues, the issues related to the ensuring of strategic drugs for the member states, the popularization of eco-friendly electric transport and the ensuring of raw materials for metallurgic enterprises during the session.
