The ruling political majority in Armenia could not grasp its role, as well as the value of the mandate it received from the citizens. Artsvik Minasyan, secretary of the opposition "Armenia" Faction in the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia, stated this Friday during the traditional press briefings at the NA

According to the parliamentarian, this political majority could not even distinguish the primary issues from the secondary ones.

"And what is worse, the ruling majority continues to remain in the same situation," Minasyan added.

According to the politician, instead of prioritizing the key issues related to Armenia's security, the incumbent authorities are attempting—with new falsifications—to divert the public's attention from the current most difficult situation.

"So, we [i.e., the ‘Armenia’ Faction] are still faithful to our approach. In particular, we believe that these authorities are an obstacle, a threat to the restoration of the country's security and sovereignty," said the opposition MP.

The lawmaker is convinced that these authorities must leave power.

"At that time we will be able to restore the sovereignty and dignity of our country," Artsvik Minasyan added.
