President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today visited the National University of Singapore (NUS) where he was hosted at the University’s prestigious school of medicine (NUS Medicine).

President Sarkissian was introduced to the activities being carried out in NUS Medicine’s laboratories, as well as the new developments through the use of new technologies, nanotechnologies and artificial intelligence. He noted that he is impressed with the work being done in the laboratories and emphasized that there is great potential for cooperation with Armenia in the sectors of healthcare and technologies.

The opportunities for cooperation with Armenia’s research institutions, exchange of experience, implementation of exchange programs with young specialists and scientists, cooperation within the scope of the ATOM initiative of the President for development of science and technology, as well as cooperation with NUS Medicine’s international council.
