Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says he is certain that the trilateral summit of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will take place. Commenting on the Kremlin’s statement that the holding of the summit requires the consent of all the parties, Lavrov stated the following: “Consensus is required so that all those who are preparing to meet, agree to meet. I am certain that this meeting will take place.”

As reported earlier, Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov had said the trilateral summit of Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan will be necessary in a certain stage, but the consent of all parties will be required for that.

It was assumed that such a remote meeting was supposed to take place on 8-9 November — the day marking the end of the 44-day war.
