Armenia’s Minister of Defense Suren Papikyan today received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation to Armenia Sergey Kopirkin and the Russian Embassy’s Defense Attaché, Colonel Igor Sherbakov.

As reported the Armenian Defense Ministry, Kopirkin congratulated Papikyan on assuming the office of Minister of Defense and wished him success.

Several issues related to the allied cooperation between Armenia and Russia in the defense sector, as well as regional security were discussed during the meeting.
