During the session of the Security Council, I said Armenia is ready to negotiate, work jointly, make a lot of effort and find mutually acceptable solutions. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during today’s press conference.
“However, sometimes Azerbaijan tries to implement a policy of coercion, as well as a policy of aggressive coercion and blackmail against Armenia through symbolism and in other ways. During the session of the Security Council, I said Armenia will not give in to that policy of blackmail, no matter how much we realize that we are in a vulnerable situation. The reason why is because this practice, through the encouragement of other countries, is helping target Armenia’s independence, sovereignty, statehood and democracy. I said nobody can speak to Armenia in the language of coercion,” he said.
