President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today received parents of servicemen of a rifle company of the army who fell in the 44-day war in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).

The soldiers’ parents shared their issues of concern, provided details of their sons’ military service and regretted to mention that the endeavors made by their sons who died heroically for homeland defense haven’t been worthily appreciated to this day.

President Sarkissian listened to their concerns and issues of concern and proposed to submit facts and detailed information to the Staff of the President of Armenia so that there can be support to the solutions to the raised issues. Sarkissian also expressed his support to the soldiers’ parents and wished them endurance. “I deeply share your grief and thank you for raising heroic sons for the homeland,” he added.
