Putin won’t be calling US President Joe Biden on the phone to wish him a Merry Christmas on Dec. 25, Spokesperson of the President of the Russian Federation Dmitry Peskov told TASS.
On Dec. 25, Catholics, Protestants and 11 Orthodox Churches (including the Churches of Antioch, Alexandria, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Romania and the Greek Church) celebrate Christmas. The Russian Orthodox Church, the largest of all Orthodox Churches, will celebrate the Nativity on Jan. 7.
