A Turkish air force drone struck a residential home in the north of Kobani, Syria, Firat Kurdish news agency reported on Saturday, according to TASS.
According to Firat, the attack left two dead and another seven injured. Kobani is located 126 km from Aleppo, on the east side of the Euphrates. The fighters of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (PPU) forces scored their first victory over ISIS in this city in 2015.
Firat doesn’t state whether there are Kurdish fighters among the victims of the Turkish attack or not. Kobani and its neighboring Manbij (40 km from Aleppo) are the strongholds of the PPU detachments which are making attacks against the Turkish troops and the Syrian armed opposition units backed by Ankara.
