In order to establish internal political stability in Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), it is necessary for the working main forces to return to the post-war stage of political consultations. Tigran Abrahamyan, an MP from the opposition "With Honor" Faction in the National Assembly of Armenia and a security expert, wrote this on Facebook. He added as follows:
“Immediately after the [Artsakh] war [last year], a preliminary consensus was reached between the ruling force and the parliamentary opposition that the president, the majority force working within the framework of Artsakh's constitution and laws should cede various key positions, spheres to several forces in the political field, and which in turn would form a stable majority—by coalition or other principle—and take the country out not only of the internal political crisis, but also of the difficult situation created as a result of the war.
This scenario did not work because Armenia’s authorities intervened and created a political ‘balance’ in Artsakh that they could have changed at any time—according to their preferences.
These very days, Armenia’s authorities are attempting to create an internal political crisis in Artsakh through the ‘trap’ they created, which is not allowed in the first stage at the expense of the prudence and efforts of the parliamentary opposition.
Pashinyan's power aims to deprive Artsakh of the components of subjectivity by way of provoking political instability and crisis in Artsakh. That is why these behind-the-scenes actions are accompanied by aggressive manifestations of Pashinyan and his political/propaganda team, whose main goal is to show that it is impossible for Artsakh to remain Armenian, the struggle is meaningless, and to shift the process from the current inertia course to the field of Turkish-Azerbaijani logic.”
